Psychology in high school: Challenges and perspectives

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the Psychology teaching matter in high school, analyzing aspects of its historical process and some current challenges. It is assumed that Psychology – as both scientific and professional area – has an important role in the youth educational process, keeping in mind their constitution as critical citizens.
